Custom software that lets you scale

When growth means hiring just to keep up with admin, the problem is not your people — it is the software. We design and build the internal platforms, integrations and AI systems that let Malaysian companies grow without adding headcount.

Five signs you have outgrown off-the-shelf

SaaS is the right answer for most problems — until your business stops fitting its shape. These are the signals we see before a custom build pays for itself.

  1. Data is typed twice

The same order, lead or invoice is re-entered in WhatsApp, a spreadsheet and the ERP. Every copy is a chance for an error.

  2. Spreadsheets run the core

A critical process lives in one person's workbook. When they are on leave, the process stops.

  3. Growth means admin hires

Revenue is up, but so is the headcount needed to process it. Margin does not follow growth.

  4. Seats cost more than they fit

You pay per user for three tools that each do 60% of the job, and still need workarounds.

  5. Customers wait on manual steps

Quotes, onboarding or reporting take days because someone has to assemble them by hand.

What we build

Integration before invention: we connect the systems you already pay for, and build new only where it earns its keep.

Internal platforms & portals

Operations dashboards, approval flows, client and partner portals, and learning platforms — one place for work that is scattered across tools today.

Integrations & automation

CRM, ERP, accounting, e-commerce and WhatsApp Business connected through APIs, webhooks and MCP, so data moves once and stays consistent.

AI systems with guardrails

Document processing, enquiry triage, proposal drafting and knowledge assistants on your data — with logging, human approval and cost controls.

Customer-facing web apps

Booking, quoting, onboarding and self-service tools that shorten the time between a customer's question and your answer.

Buy, integrate or build?

The honest answer is often “integrate”. This is the framework we use in every audit.

Buy (SaaS)The process is standard — payroll, accounting, email — and the tool fits 80% of how you work.Per-seat costs that grow faster than revenue; workarounds that become processes.
IntegrateYou already own good tools, but people move data between them by hand.Fragile point-to-point links without monitoring. We build with logging and alerts.
BuildThe process is how you compete, no product fits it, and the leak is large enough to pay back the build.Building without an owner. Every build includes documentation and handover training.

How we deliver

The winsym Method: one accountable team from diagnosis to a system your people run without us.

01 · 1–2 weeks

Audit

Map the process, interview the people who do the work and quantify the leak in ringgit per year.

02 · Fixed scope

Blueprint

An ROI-ranked plan with architecture, data boundaries and KPIs agreed in writing before kickoff.

03 · Milestones

Build

Working releases on your production data — integrations, error handling and monitoring included.

04 · 30 days

Transfer

Documentation and hands-on training, plus a 30-day stabilisation window after go-live.

05 · Retainer

Optimise

We keep models, APIs and the system current, and report the value it delivers every month.

Clear commercials

No open-ended hourly billing. You know the scope, the price and the KPI before we write a line of code.

  • AI Opportunity Audit from MYR 2,500 — 100% of the audit fee is credited toward a build started within 60 days.
  • Custom builds from MYR 8,000, fixed price per milestone
  • Payment: 40% at kickoff, 40% at milestone, 20% at go-live
  • You own the code, data and documentation
  • Optional partner retainer from MYR 6,000 per month after go-live

Train the team that will use it

Software only pays when people use it. Every build includes handover training, and teams can join our HRD Corp claimable courses to build the skills to extend it themselves.

How Malaysian SMEs Scale Without Adding Headcount

Growth that needs an admin hire for every jump in revenue caps margin. How software, integrations and trained teams let Malaysian SMEs scale output, not payroll.

Software questions

If yours is not here, ask us directly — we reply within one business day.

Who owns the software you build?

You do. Source code, data and documentation are handed over to your company. We host on your accounts wherever possible, so you are never locked in to us.

How long does a custom build take?

It depends on scope, which is why we start with an audit. Focused integrations and internal tools often take a few weeks; larger platforms are delivered in milestones, each with a working release.

What technology do you use?

Proven, widely supported building blocks — modern web frameworks, Postgres databases such as Supabase, automation platforms like n8n or Make, and leading AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google. We choose based on your team's ability to maintain it.

Can you work with our existing IT team or vendor?

Yes. We often build alongside an in-house IT team or an ERP vendor. Integration before invention: we connect to the systems you already run before proposing anything new.

How do you handle PDPA and data security?

Data boundaries are defined in the blueprint: what data is processed, where it is stored, which models see it and who can change it. Write access by AI agents is logged and gated by human approval where it matters.

Are there grants for AI and software projects?

Some Malaysian programmes, including MDEC initiatives, support digital and AI adoption for eligible companies. Terms change, so we check current programmes with you during the audit — eligibility and approval sit with the funding body.
